Add in some article marketing and posting free classifieds. How's it working for you? Amazingly enough, these can all work quite well. It depends on how you use each technique. If you're just spamming the forums, or if you just write junk articles that are little more than blatant ads for your products, you're not too likely to do well. Produce quality posts and articles, and write your classifieds carefully, you can do better. But it does take time. Free classifieds aren't for everyone. I know some people swear by them |

 Of late, the topic of succession planning has sparked much concern. However, it seems few organizations have heeded the warning. According to a Human Resource Planning Society and Hewitt Associates study, fewer than 60% of companies have a succession plan in place.
Below are some of the most common myths about succession planning.
Myth #1: If there are no imminent retirements, succession planning needn't be a top priority.
According to a survey conducted by Capital H, nearly 22 percent of respondents expect to lose between 10 percent and 25 percent of their top performers to retirement within the next five years. These top performers play a significant role in a company's success, often serving in high-level, supervisory roles. For successions to progress smoothly, the people chosen to fill these roles need to be prepared and adequately trained. That process takes time.
Myth #2: Succession planning is only an issue for big companies.

 Gas prices just keep going up. This has been going on for a while, but now many areas are breaking 4 a gallon easily. It s not a comfortable situation if you have a long commute. And this is one of the most obvious ways that working outside the home has become more expensive. Many other prices have gone up as well. I've come to realize that more and more people are getting serious about working at home, at least some of the time. They may only be able to telecommute a day or two a week, but the savings are obvious. The challenge can be getting an employer to agree to let you telecommute. Its not impossible if your job is suited to telecommuting, and many employers are feeling enough of a pinch from gas prices themselves that they may be more reasonable about it now than in the past.
